Apps, rebuilt properly.

We find Android apps people rely on and are quietly frustrated by, read every complaint we can find, then build the version that answers them. Every app is free.

Two developers. No investors. Everything we ship is free and paid for by advertising.

What we have shipped

StudyPomo app icon

StudyPomo

Live on Google Play

A Pomodoro timer that keeps counting when the screen goes off.

Built against: Timers that stop counting when Android reclaims the process, losing the session.

Ponderanda app icon

Ponderanda

Built, not yet submitted

One arithmetic ladder a day. Five problems, one attempt, the same for everyone.

Built against: Brain-training apps cap free play at about three games a day, on top of cognitive claims the evidence does not support.

Who is actually behind this

How we make money

AdMob inside the apps. This site carries no advertising yet, and when it does it will be AdSense. That is all of it. You never pay us, we never sell your data, and there is no paid tier waiting behind the free one.

Tell us what is broken.

Every app we build starts as somebody else's complaint. If something you rely on gets one specific thing wrong, we want to know what it is.

What makes a report useful

  1. One specific failure, not a general feeling. "The timer resets when I lock the screen" beats "it is buggy".
  2. What you were doing when it happened, and on what phone if you know.
  3. Whether you have seen others say it. A link to a review or a thread is worth more than anything else you can send.

We read everything. We answer when we can, and we will not add you to a mailing list. If your report becomes an app, you will see it quoted in the teardown.

What happens to it

We read it. Logged against the app it is about, so the same complaint arriving twice is visible as a pattern.
If it recurs, it becomes a teardown. One person's annoyance is an opinion. Forty is a defect.
If we can fix it, we build it. Two have got that far so far, and one of them is on the Play Store.
