A ZKTeco K40 on a direct cable to a Windows 11 laptop since 15 September, a connection check that walks five steps in order, a 30.2 second check cut to 2.2 seconds, and the first laptop outside the studio, which stopped at step two, was then set up from the program with one Windows prompt, and still reached the terminal after a restart.
